Joaquin Ag Repair does aluminum welding and stainless welding on smaller repairs once the part has been reviewed.

Aluminum brackets and mounts
Aluminum guards and panels
Cracked aluminum castings, ask first
Stainless brackets
Stainless guards and covers
Food-plant parts, cleaned and quoted
Brackets, guards, panels and castings are welded at the shop, where the heat and the cleaning can be controlled. Send a photo before you drive over, because thickness, alloy and contamination decide whether the part takes a weld at all.
| Part brought to the shopMost work | $85/hr | One hour minimum |
| Callout, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 9pmBooked ahead | $130/hr | $450 minimum |
| Callout after 9pm, Sundays and holidaysAfter hours | $195/hr | $550 minimum |
| Same-day callout, any hourEmergency | $260/hr | $650 minimum |
Most of the work here is done at the bench, and a part brought in is billed by the hour from the time the work starts, with a one hour minimum and nothing added for a trip. A callout is the other way around: the minimum covers the drive, the equipment for the day and the first two hours on site, and the clock runs by the quarter hour after that. Several jobs at one address, or several stops on the same run, are billed at the hourly rate without a second minimum. Rates do not stack, so a callout at 10pm is billed at the emergency rate rather than at the emergency and the after-hours rate together. Example jobs and what they came to are on the welding rates page.
We take smaller aluminum work, and a photo sent ahead is usually enough for a yes or a no on the phone.
Cast is harder to call than plate or extrusion, so the photo decides whether we take it.
Because the thickness, the alloy and how contaminated the metal is are not visible over the phone, and all three decide the job.
We weld stainless in food plants with the facility hot-work permit and a fire watch in place.
