Can you fix this?Find out in a minute.

Tell us what broke and add a photo if you have one, and you get one of four answers: we can do it, we can probably do it, Joaquin has to look at it himself, or it is not one for this shop. There is no charge for it and you do not have to leave your number.

Booked further out than usual

The calendar runs tight through the season. If the job is not one we can take, there is a list of other Fresno shops on this site.

What the four answers mean

The answer is not a quote and not a contract.

What makes a photo worth sending

This is what to photograph and where to stand.

  1. Stand back far enough to show the whole part so the photo shows what it does.
  2. Then take a second one close in on the break, so the photos cover the whole part and the crack itself.
  3. Get light on it, either daylight or a work light held off to the side so that the crack casts a shadow.
  4. Wipe the grease off first if there is enough of it to hide the metal.
  5. Put a tape or a wrench in frame for scale when the part is small.

What this shop is set up for

Joaquin Ag Repair works on trailers, farm implements, truck beds, racks, brackets, gates, guards, wear buildup and the smaller aluminum and stainless jobs, and that is the daily work of the shop.

Some jobs call for a shop with a license, a certification or a code stamp behind them. When yours is one of those, there is a list of other Fresno shops on this site.

What happens to what you send

Questions we get

Does this cost anything?

Quotes and estimates are free, on the phone or through this page, and that does not change if the answer is that we cannot help.

Is this a quote?

It is not a quote, and it only tells you whether the job is work we take. The price comes off the published rate, how long the work takes and how far the drive is, and Joaquin confirms it before anything gets welded.

Do I have to leave my number?

You can walk through the questions and read the answer without leaving anything, and the number is only there so that Joaquin can call you back instead of you waiting on the page.

What if I do not have a photo?

You still get an answer, though it carries less confidence, and a job without a photo rarely gets a flat yes.

How fast does somebody call?

Evenings and weekends are when the phone gets answered fastest, so if the machine is down today it is better to call than to type it out here, and a same-day callout runs at the emergency rate.

Why would you turn work down?

Because some of it needs a license, a certification or a code stamp that this shop does not carry.
